Chance Petty This EP is too good. End to end it's solid, and after a year it still hasn't worn out. I end up a little surprised when it's over, and wanting more every time I listen through it. Can't wait to hear more from these guys! Well worth the download (and a little coin if you can spare it). Favorite track: Space Needle.

David Clark These guys are from a few cities over from mine, and I knew them when they went under the name "Zissou". I had their original demo, and this first EP is definitely a local favorite of mine. I recommend it for fans of Title Fight, Weezer, and Jawbreaker. Favorite track: Boomerang.

Boomerang 02:36
Nothingness, Appreciation of its presence only ever helps me feel alive. Void and time connect the gap that fear and love have manifested in my mind. It's always overcome by the beauty that she has residing in her eyes. The calmingness provided by them on the night you learn that your best friend died and you don't want to cry so you try to hide from all the things that cause you pain, you best expect a boomerang. Life and death, dreams of flying, dreams of dying, dreams of having all my teeth come out. The things in life that scare me most I never let them cause a single doubt. I feel them overtake me let them shake me to the bone and then I scream and shout. The sound of music comforts me distracting words that I've been shouting out this mouth, I don't want to cry so I try to hide, from all the things that cause me pain you best expect a boomerang.

Space Needle 01:56
So this is what you've got under you sleeve, this magic trick for all of us to see? Another way to hide the ways that you steal and lie. Seattle's cold must chill the bone so don't come home to everyone, who didn't miss you anyways, the space needle trick was better by the way. All the rides through mountain gate in the rain, and all the days you ever showed up late. Did you even try? Or was it the trick that time? Seattle's cold must chill the bone so don't come home to everyone, who didn't miss you anyways, the space needle trick was better by the way. Now I've seen the illusion behind your teeth, and I know something I wish you could know.

Confidence 02:09
For so long it ran away from me, something that I couldn't even be. Now looking back on all of it, it's something that I don't try to forget. That feeling of self worth I was chasing, something that would either make me or break me. The confidence I lacked I do not miss, avoiding the dark try not to reminisce. For so long it ran away from me, something that I couldn't even be. and it came with age which I can disengage and it's that feeling of knowing that doesn't stop growing, If I don't try to get what I want the feelings of regret might come back to haunt and I'm not afraid anymore

With eyes like sponges I couldn't help but see, in a world that was flooded water up to my knees. The trees they seemed so much taller back then, shielding our eyes telling us to pretend. Naivety swallowed us, kept us in our rooms at night, for the fear of monsters lurking in the dark. Now that our perspectives changed, everything has rearranged. When you see.

Anacrime 02:21
I may have beeen searching through your floor, I may have been trying to find out more. About what what you keep inside your heart, Cause you've been lying since the very start. You hide behind your favorite drink of choice. To pass the time, to sulk is your rejoice. about what you keep inside your heart, cause you've been lying since the very start. I've come to find, happiness is down the street, and rhyming lines makes passing time feel real easy. Could you please tell me whats inside your heart? Cause you've been lying since the very start and now I'm stuck inside this Anacrime and I've been trying to find my peace of mind.

Every time I'd lay awake at night, I couldn't help but think about it. The possibility, there's more than what my mind can see, waves of gamma crashing down, something I can cry about. And there's a great big rock in the damn sky. Nobody ever thinks about it. Like what the hell is going on? Torn to pieces all day long. One big consciously strange collective, something I can cry about.
